Bio-LNG: Renewable Liquefied Natural Gas
Bio-LNG is a sustainable liquid fuel produced through the liquefaction of biomethane derived from renewable resources.
Production Process:
1,Anaerobic Digestion:
Organic waste materials are processed, including agricultural residues (crop straw), livestock manure, food waste, agro-industrial wastewater, etc.
2,Biogas Generation:
The digestion process yields raw biogas, primarily composed of Methane (CH₄) and Carbon dioxide (CO₂).
3,Purification & Upgrading:
The biogas undergoes treatment to remove impurities such as CO2 and hydrogen sulfide (H₂S),resulting in high-purity biomethane (>95% CH₄).
4,Liquefaction:
The purified biomethane is cooled to cryogenic temperatures (-162℃), converting it to liquid form (Bio-LNG).
Key Characteristics:
Renewable fuel source with carbon-neutral potential
Energy-dense liquid for efficient storage/transport
Direct substitute for fossil-derived LNG
